Since Louis Hill and the Great Northern Railway opened Glacier Park Lodge in 1913, there has been a tradition of moving full-time personnel and offices between East Glacier Park, MT and corporate headquarters located outside of Montana.

Today, this moving of offices continues every year but on a much smaller scale.  Most full-time employees of Glacier Park, Inc. reside in Montana year round. Executive Management relocates to Viad’s corporate headquarters in Phoenix, AZ for the winter. Below is a simple chart of GPI’s office locations and full-time personnel movement.
