Sustainable Cuisine:
Buy Organic and Be Organic, Buy Local and Be Local. Those are the
motto’s that Glacier Park Inc. strives for. Meaning we strive for each
recipe to recite products that are either organic, made in-house or,
Montana made. Menu selections are qualified by “Made in Montana” -
“Grown in Montana” or “Certified Organic” and include the following: |

Montana Legends Beef:
We use cuts of beef that are Montana bred and hormone free animals. They are
fed natural feeds and grazed using low-impact methods.
The Orchard at Flathead
Lake:
Growers of quality Montana Certified Organic sweet cherries. Yellow Bay,
Mt. Kings Cupboard:
Specialty dessert mixes and sauces. Red Lodge, Mt.
Wheat Montana:
Still family owned. Wheat Montana is world recognized as the model
agricultural operation of the Great Northern Plains. Three Forks, Mt.
Cream Of The West:
Sustainable Agriculture, Cream of the West comes from Montana grain
fields directly to the breakfast table. Harlowton. Mt.
Darigold Farms of Montana:
High quality dairy products since 1918. We support Montana dairies through
Darigold Farms of Montana. Montana Co-op.
Huckleberry Haven:
Produces and provides huckleberry products including the syrup on our
pancakes, sauces for our entrees to toppings for the desserts. Kalispell,
Mt.
Red Jammer Sodas:
The signature beverages at Glacier Park Inc are our special sodas, Red
Jammer Root Beer and Huckleberry Cream soda. Missoula, Mt.
Ten Spoon Vineyards and Winery:
Wine produced from organically grown grapes with sustainable
agricultural practices. Missoula Mt.
Mission Mountain Winery:
This family owned Winery and vineyard is located in Montana and grows
grapes such as Reisling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Dayton Mt.
Montana Micro Breweries:
Great Northern Brewing Company, Whitefish, Mt.
Big Sky Brewing Company, Missoula, Mt.
Harvest Moon Brewing Company, Belt, Mt.
Glacier Brewing Company, Polson, Mt.
Rooms Division
Using low acidic cleaning supplies:

Recycling paper at the
front desks and in the Rooms Division Admin office

Using low watt light bulbs.

Only washing the sheets on
the 3rd night of a stayover – quantifiable reduction of water usage and
waste water production.

Replacing the toilet paper
roll when it only has a quarter of it left. Waste reduction through
depleting use of hotel rolls.

Only replacing amenities on
a stayover when the product is half empty.

Using canvas bags at one of
the properties for returning dirty linen. Reducing the use of plastics
and waste reduction.

Ensuring that all lights
are turned off in rooms after they are cleaned.

Housekeeping recycles
aluminum cans when they are accessible.

We now use glasses in the
rooms at PWH instead of disposable plastic cups.

We reuse the pages from
previous seasons' guest directory.

Only wash towels that are
on the floor or are very dirty.
Carpool when ever possible, or stay at the property to save emissions.

Every effort is made to use
only recycled paper products.

We have switched to dorm
mattresses that are more durable and will not need to be replaced as
often.

Donate old mattresses
instead of throwing them away

retail shirt from Recycled cotton & one shirt from organic cotton.
