Located 6 miles west of St. Mary Visitor’s Center along the Going-to-the-Sun Road inside Glacier National Park, Rising Sun Motor Inn is situated across the road from picturesque St. Mary Lake. With cottage and motor inn accommodations, Rising Sun Motor Inn is one of the most popular locations for visitors who seek a centralized location, peaceful surroundings and panoramic views of mountains, sky and water.

Televisions, in-room telephones, air conditioning, elevator, in-room coffee makers and mini-refrigerators are not available. Iron, ironing board, hair dryers are available upon request from the front desk. Pets are not allowed  Pay telephones are located by the Camp Store A limited number of handicap accessible rooms are available  and are booked  based on space and availability			All rooms and facilities are non-smoking.  Two Dog Flats Grill is located in the main registration building, serving classic Montana fare with a Tex-Mex influence. This casual restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Enjoy a frosty pint of Montana micro-brew beer or glass of wine during lunch and dinner.  The restaurant seats on a first come first served basis and does not accept reservations. Casual attire is required so come and enjoy our Mountain/Tex-Mex cuisine. Children’s menus and box lunches available.   Gift Shop and Campstore Two shopping choices are available at this location on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. In the gift shop, you will find Native American jewelry and crafts, as well as several popular lines of souvenir merchandise. Description of Rooms
	The Motor Inn is located on the hillside overlooking the complex and features motel-style accommodations with outside room access.   Store Motel rooms are motel-style accommodations. The rooms are located in the same building as the Camp Store, have a centralized hallway and most have wood floors.  Cottage rooms are rustic yet comfortable, duplex-style accommodations located along the winding roadway through the complex. Parking is limited in front of cottages but only for one vehicle. Rooms do not have views of St. Mary Lake
