Located 12 miles west of Babb, MT in the
northeast corner of Glacier National Park and one mile from
Many Glacier Hotel, Swiftcurrent Motor Inn is a hiker’s
paradise. It also has numerous trailheads for hiking trails
leading to magnificent destinations such as Swiftcurrent
Pass, Iceberg Lake, and
Ptarmigan
Tunnel. The name
“Swiftcurrent” is thought to have come from the
Blackfeet term “Ikami-awaki-mishka” which means fast
running water. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable,
perfect for the hiker, photographer or family. |

Experience casual
dining with an Italian flair at the Italian Gardens
Ristorante. Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner
offerings. Pizza-to-go or eat in is available. Breakfast is
served from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., lunch is served from 11 a.m.
to 3 p.m., and dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Enjoy a frosty
pint of Montana micro-brew beer or glass of wine during lunch
and dinner. The Restaurant seats on a first come first serve
basis and does not accept reservations.
Casual attire is required so come and enjoy mountain cuisine
with an Italian flair. Children’s menus and box lunches
available. |

Campstore
located in the best hiking area of Glacier National Park, this
camp store will service all of your needs. You will find
groceries, camping, fishing and hiking items, as well as gifts,
souvenirs and Montana huckleberry products here. Snacks, hot and
cold beverages, and huckleberry yogurt can be found in the deli
area.

Swiftcurrent Motor Inn consists of three
individual buildings with private bathrooms and motel-style rooms
with outside access.
Pinetop Motel rooms are accessed by a
central hallway and have private bathrooms.
Cottages
are available with or without a private bathroom. A shower room is
conveniently located nearby. Cottages without a private
bath do have a private sink with cold running water. |

interpretive red bus tours, boat cruises on Swiftcurrent and
Josephine Lakes, National Park Service Ranger/Naturalist
presentations, evening musical entertainment with David Walburn at
Many Glacier Hotel Monday through Saturday, horseback riding,
hiking, fishing and shopping. |
