Drugs & Alcohol

Glacier Park, Inc. is committed to making a significant impact on ending alcohol and drug abuse/misuse amongst our employees. If you choose to abuse alcohol, engage in excessive drinking, or the use of illegal substances, we ask that you do not consider coming to work for Glacier Park, Inc.  
The legal drinking age in Montana (USA) is 21. The legal drinking age in Alberta (Canada) is 18. Underage drinking will not be tolerated and is enforced by Park Rangers, local law enforcement, Glacier Park, Inc. management and security.
All facilities are smoke-free. Designated smoking areas are provided.

Uniform & Appearance

Glacier Park, Inc. believes that dress, grooming and personal cleanliness standards contribute to the morale of all employees and affect the business image the Company presents to customers and visitors. We expect all employees to take pride in their appearance, especially when at work or representing the Company.
Employees are expected to present themselves in a professional manner in the workplace. Position-specific uniforms are required and must be maintained by employees. Most positions require the employee to furnish some portion of the uniform. In an effort to promote a safe work environment, all hotel-based employees are required to wear certified slip-resistant footwear.
A tasteful and conservative appearance is expected by the Company. The following examples are meant to provide a broad guideline of appearance expectation. Please consult a People & Culture representative should you have specific concerns.
Hairstyles are expected to be in good tasted and well maintained. Unnaturally colored hair and extreme styles (i.e. Mohawks, Dreadlocks) do not present and appropriate professional appearance.
Piercings and tattoos may be permissible, but must not be excessive or offensive. Facial or excessive piercings may not be worn during work. Ear stretching/gauging and associated plugs are allowed, but cannot exceed gauge #2 (6mm).

Background Check

Glacier Park, Inc. is committed to maintaining a safe and hospitable environment for our guests and employees. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a standard criminal background check.

Employee Housing

Glacier Park, Inc. is proud to offer dormitory housing in conjunction with park-based employment to those who may require such accommodations. Residence in such facilities is a privilege based on current employment and adherence to dormitory rules and regulations.
Only current Glacier Park, Inc. employees may use/reside in dormitories and use facilities such as employee recreation rooms and employee dining rooms.
Pets are not permitted in employee housing.
Glacier Park, Inc. requires a $100 housing deposit due upon acceptance of a job offer for all employees who will occupy Company facilities (exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Director of People & Culture).
