International Programs

Glacier Park, Inc. (GPI) is pleased to partner with CIEE Work & Travel USA and Intrax Work Travel to hire students to the J-1 Summer Work Travel Program.  As a part of the U.S. Department of State’s Exchange Visitor Program, Summer Work Travel (SWT) is an educational and cultural exchange opportunity for students, fellow employees, and guests at our Glacier National Park and Whitefish, Montana properties.
GPI hires students from more than one dozen countries around the globe each year.  Approximately 20% of our seasonal workforce is comprised of students working on a J-1 visa.
By participating in this highly competitive program, selected SWT students bring a unique dynamic, cultural nuance and diverse interests to our workplace.  Students enhance their cultural understanding of life in the United States, as well as expand their English language skills.  As importantly, fellow employees and guests expand their cultural knowledge and understanding through interacting with their international counterparts.
Glacier Park, Inc. works exclusively with the following sponsoring agencies:
Students interested in pursuing summer employment with GPI should contact a partner agency for further information.  No independent offers will be made to new program participants.
