Here's my list of Whitefish rainy day fun...
Take a tour of the Montana Coffee Traders Roasting Plant
Montana Coffee Traders offers tours of their roasting facility at 10AM, Monday through Friday. Their roasting location is on highway 93 just a half mile south of the junction with highway 40.
Go Cosmic Bowling
Hit up the Pin and Cue bowling alley. For some extra fun try Cosmic Bowling on Fridays from 4-6pm. The Pin and Cue is on highway 93 just South of Safeway.
Get creative at the Stumptown Art Studio right downtown. The studio is open every day for little kids and big kids alike. Paint pottery, make mosaics and fuse glass. The possibilities are endless, so switch it up and go make something while on vacation!
Try Some Local Flavor
Sweet Peaks Ice Cream Shop started scooping right here in Whitefish, and has since expanded across the Pacific Northwest. Experience the original location right downtown Whitefish for flavors like Carrot Cake, Lemon Dill and Chocolate Coconut Raspberry Clove.
Try the Montana Coffee Traders downtown location. It’s the closest we get to a Starbucks here in Whitefish. Here, you will find mountain techies and bloggers busy at their laptops while you enjoy the best coffee and bocadillos (MCT’s spin on a sandwich) Whitefish has to offer.
Get a little exercise at the Wave
The Wave is Whitefish’s premier fitness center. The Wave is more than “just a gym,” it houses an aquatic center with a two pools plus a waterslide for the kids and a hot tub & sauna for the adults. You can even drop the kids at the drop-in childcare and squeeze a workout into your vacation.
