Tea/Breakfast Servers are responsible for Breakfast and Lunch service within our Dining Room at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton, AB. They are also responsible for Afternoon Tea Service where they will serve tea and baked goods to guests. Required to handle cash accurately and may also be required to bus tables as needed. Previous Serving experience required.

Previous Bar Manager or Lead experience required.

Bartender/Cocktail Servers will make alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as serve food to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume Bar/Lounge atmosphere. All Bartenders will be required to serve tables within the lounge and may or may not be responsible for bussing tables, restocking, prep for daily bar operations, cash handling and drawer balancing with accuracy, and various other duties as needed. Bartenders will also serve as the service bar for the Dining Room Staff. 1-2 years previous Bartending/Serving experience required.

Event Staff are responsible for assisting with events & banquets. Serving Event Staff will be responsible for set up/tear down, serving, bussing, and providing general guest service to our event patrons. Kitchen Event Staff will be responsible for assisting in food preparation for events and set up/tear-down of events. Previous Serving or Banquet Serving experience required for Event Servers. Previous kitchen experience helpful, but not required for Event Kitchen Staff.

Executive Sous Chefs train all Kitchen managers, EDR managers, and kitchen staff at all locations on a rotating or as needed basis. Assist with banquets and covering staff shortages when necessary. Previous Kitchen Manager/Trainer or Executive Chef Experience required. Driver’s license required.

Location Chefs are the Managing Chefs at each location. They are responsible for training and cross training staff on technique, safety, sanitation, and all basic duties needed to make a kitchen operate smoothly. Responsible for designing and producing daily specials. Will work on the line to ensure quality product and to provide on-going staff training. They are also responsible for inventory, ordering, scheduling, handling employee concerns and situations in a respectful and tactful manner. Previous Kitchen Management experience required.

Sous Chefs are responsible for management duties when the Location Chef is not present. Responsible for employee management, communication between kitchen and dining room, expediting, prep lists, assisting all kitchen staff with training needs, ensuring proper sanitation, safety, and all other duties assigned by location Chefs. May also be responsible for some inventory, ordering, and stocking of product. Previous Sous Chef/Kitchen Management experience required.

First Cooks are responsible for maintaining the flow of the kitchen line. They may be responsible for various stations such as sauté, grill, fryer, broiler, pantry, dish washing etc. First Cooks will also be responsible for prep duties and maintaining standards of sanitation & safety. First Cooks will serve as Leads for kitchen staff such as Second Cooks and Dishwashers when no Location or Sous Chef is present. Previous Line Cook experience required. Compensation: US $10 per hour / CDN $12.50 per hour.
Second Cooks are responsible for Prep and Pantry work in the kitchen. They will prep fruits/vegetables, salads, and desserts, and will work on the pantry line at most locations. Second Cooks may also be responsible for cross training with the First Cooks on the line, washing dishes and maintaining standards of sanitation & safety. Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but not required.

Pastry Chefs are responsible for all baked goods served in our dining rooms and other outlets. He/she will prepare desserts, pastries, cookies, strudels, and other baked goods from scratch. At some locations, will be responsible for training and managing pastry department, including an Assistant Pastry Chef and bakers. Complies with all sanitation & safety regulations and report to the Location Chef. Previous Pastry experience required.
Compensation: US $12.50 per hour / CDN Salary DOE.
Assistant Pastry Chefs are responsible for all baked goods served in our dining rooms and other outlets. He/she will prepare desserts, pastries, cookies, strudels, and other baked goods from scratch. At some locations, will be responsible for assisting Pastry Chef in training and managing baking staff. Complies with all sanitation & safety regulations. Previous Pastry experience required.
Compensation: US $11 per hour / CDN Salary DOE.
Bakers are responsible for all baked goods served in our dining rooms and other outlets. He/she will assist in preparation of desserts, pastries, cookies, strudels, and other baked goods from scratch. Complies with all sanitation & safety regulations. Previous Pastry experience preferred, but not required.

Dishwashers are responsible for making sure that all dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. are washed and sanitized in a timely manner for continued use in our Dining Rooms, Kitchens, and Employee Dining Rooms. May also be responsible for cross training with Second Cooks and adhering to sanitation & safety requirements. Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but not required.

The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for ordering and inventory control of perishable and non-perishable items for all divisions of Food and Beverage. He/she will work closely with the Locations Chef, Dining Room Manager, and other F & B Managers to ensure accuracy. Works in both warm and cold temperatures. Previous inventory management experience required.
Compensation: US $11.50 per hour / CDN $15 per hour.
Employee Dining Room Managers are responsible for the preparation of 3 meals per day to feed anywhere from 60-250 employees. Will train all EDR staff in technique, safety, sanitation, and all other duties needed to make sure employees are fed quality, nutritious meals in a timely manner. May follow a meal plan and ensure inventory and ordering of all items needed. Supervises EDR Cooks and EDR Attendants. Previous Kitchen Management, Banquet, EDR, or other relevant experience required.
Compensation: US $12.50 per hour, plus incentives.
EDR Cooks will be responsible for the preparation of 3 meals per day to feed anywhere from 60-250 employees. Will maintain sanitation & safety standards and will prepare quality and nutritious meals for employees. May follow a meal plan and also do some ordering and inventory. EDR Cooks at smaller properties will report to the Location Chef and to the EDR Manager at larger properties. Previous line cook experience is required and banquet kitchen experience is helpful, but not required.
Compensation: US $10 per hour / CDN $12.50 per hour.
EDR Attendants will be responsible for serving meals to employees in the EDR. They are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the Employee Dining Room. Other duties may include washing dishes, restocking items in the EDR, and some prep work. Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but not required.
