ONCE HIRED:
Congratulations on being selected to join us for the adventure of a lifetime! Following a successful interview with your Human Resources Generalist you should have received an employment offer and paperwork (via email unless otherwise requested). Be sure to complete all necessary steps to secure your new position.
Please contact your HR Generalist with any questions or if you encounter any complications while completing or submitting your employment paperwork. If you choose not to accept your offer of employment, please contact your HR Generalist to inform us that you will be unable to join us.

EMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK:
Once your employment offer has been issued you have 10 days to submit your completed paperwork. Please refer to the specific date listed on your offer letter.
If your 10 day period lapses your offer becomes VOID. Please contact your HR Generalist if you still wish to accept employment
ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN INFORMATION:
Please refer to your employment offer letter for specific date and time of arrival. Early arrivals are NOT permitted.
A valid passport or two other forms of ID are required for check-in. Documents must be in original form – photocopies and faxes will not be accepted. Please refer to your employment paperwork for a complete list of acceptable forms of ID. Driver’s license, birth certificate, or a social security card are most common.
Please note that employees will NOT be permitted to check-in or move into GPI housing until proper identification has been presented. Exceptions will not be made, so please plan accordingly.
During check-in you will be issued your GPI photo ID, park pass, and name tag. Please arrive clean-shaven for your photo. A fee of $25 will be charged for replacement GPI photo IDs.
If you would like to participate in Direct Deposit for your paycheck, please complete this form and bring it with you upon your arrival.

- Bed linens (twin), pillow, blanket or sleeping bag.
- Towel & toiletries (don’t forget sunscreen and bug repellent).
- Cold & warm weather clothing.
- Extra cash – depending on your arrival date you may not receive your first paycheck for up to 3 weeks. Although meals and housing are deducted through payroll, you may need cash for personal spending. ATM machines are available, but may not be functioning until the property opens to the public.
- Alarm clock.
- Combination lock (for storing valuables).
- Camera, laptop, notebook.
- Calling cards.
- Musical instruments.
- Hiking, fishing, camping, and back-country gear.
- Mountain bike.
- Your own vehicle – while it is not necessary, you are encouraged to bring your own vehicle, as it will allow you to explore the surrounding areas on your own schedule.
