If you love the outdoors, and we hope you do, there is no better place to spend a summer than in Waterton-Glacier!  The Park has something to offer everyone: hiking, cycling, camping, fishing, rafting, horseback riding, animal watching, boat cruises, and informative ranger-led activities to name a few.   All it takes is a sense of adventure.

For the less adventurous crowd or when you need a place to relax after a long day in the park, each property has an Employee Recreation Room with amenities that may include satellite television, Wi-Fi, computers, pool tables, ping-pong tables, foosball, dart boards and a comfortable place to relax.

Glacier National Park (Montana, USA)

Glacier National Park encompasses over 1 million acres, much of which is wilderness area (and is largely surrounded by National Forest).  With most services centralized on the Going-to-the-Sun Road, most of the 2+ million annual visitors can be found in close proximity to this 50 mile scenic stretch through the heart of the Park. 

Employees are welcome to take an informative Red Bus tour (free, space available) over the Road or into other corners of the Park.  Whether you choose to stay close to home or venture deep into the backcountry it is important to be prepared, stay safe, and have fun!

Waterton Lakes National Park (505 sq. km), though not as expansive as Glacier National Park, offers extensive outdoor opportunities.  With Waterton Townsite situated at its epicenter, a morning climb of Bear’s Hump, followed by lunch in town at Weiner’s of Waterton, can be capped off with kayaking on the lake, all before returning to Prince of Wales for dinner.  Waterton is definitely a place to get out and have some fun!
