Hi, Amber! I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet you but thank you for all you did to help us prepare for the trip! I wanted to give my thanks and congratulations for a job well done--our adventure trip was WONDERFUL! It was well-planned, and organized and the staff (Phil, Ron, and Jake) were dedicated to making sure each of the guests had a great experience--Mike and I sure did! The hiking was great fun and the staff and guides were so patient with me--I seemed to always be at the back of the pack!

The lodges were cool and nostalgic--the red bus was so much fun! We enjoyed the interesting people we hiked, fished, and rafted with! I have nothing but positive things to say about the trip itself and the people who planned and ran it. I would be glad for you to use me as a reference and direct any emails to me if potential guests need some persuading--it's easy to speak in glowing terms about this adventure.

Please pass along my thanks to the Phil, Ron, and Jake and the powers that be--excellence should be rewarded!
Thanks, again! Jane

PS. Please tell Ron that my surviving the ice crossing was a life changer for me--he'll understand....

Amber, The Great Glacier Adventure was the first group tour Guy & I had ever participated in. We have travelled in many of our National Parks but always on a trip we had planned – lodge reservations, hikes, view points, nature programs, etc. We were not disappointed at all! Phil, Martin, & Jake did an excellent job – they were very informative, very friendly, and always made sure everyone was doing fine.

My main concern about planning a trip to GNP was bears on the trails. I am happy to say we saw bear and our guides, Carter & Emily, knew just what to do! I always felt safe. If you plan this type of tour in other National Parks let us know – we just might be interested!
Thank you, Guy & Nancy P.

"Heaven on Earth" - Kudos to Phil, Jake and Ron for making the Great Glacier Adventure (2011) a wonderful experience!

Lee Juillerat's article on the 2011 Great Glacier Adventure Tour.  Here is an excerpt. "Great Glacier Adventures are new offerings at Glacier National Park, trips intended to get visitors out and about by day and cozy and coiffed at night. Offered through the park concessionaire, Glacier Park, Inc., the trips are designed to let others do the planning and groundwork. “We didn’t want to do tents,” one group member explained at the opening night get-acquainted barbecue, a glass of cabernet in one hand. “I’m past tents.” “Life is so busy I don’t have the time for logistics,” another announced. Our trip leader, Phil Pitcock invoked John Muir, who famously declared Glacier “a land of care-killing beauty.”

Just a real quick note to say thanks for a wonderful trip, it could not have been better! If you ever need a reference we would be glad to give a great one! Also Phil as the leader was superb and Jake and Martin were great as were our Glacier guides Carter and Emily. Again thanks for all you help and organization! - John

Thank you Phil, Ron, Jake, Amy, Stacy and Mitch!
We had such a great time on the Great Glacier Adventure Tour and it topped our list of best trips to the National Parks! Some of the highlights of our trip: riding on the red bus, fresh mountain air, hiking, hiking and hiking, amazing landscapes, the River Raft trip and the "glacial facial", meeting really nice people, and getting our Glacier National Park patch to add to our collection. :) You have put together a memorable tour and we miss being there already!
Jeanne, Gaston & Daniel S.

Thank you.  Let me restate that...THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!  I thought I would have had the opportunity to thank you personally for all the effort you put into this adventure prior to our start. The inaugural Glacier Park Adventure (hike July 12th-17th) was FANTASTIC.

Phil, Jake, and Ron were (ARE) a great bunch of guys----ENTHUSIASTIC from the moment they collected us at the Airport---all the way through our adventure---to our "SAFE RETURN" the following week to the Airport. They were an exceptional bunch of guys---never missed a beat---always prompt & courteous. They made our stay in Montana one that will always be cherished---WE HAD A GREAT ADVENTURE...miss it already---hope to be able to return again---there's still a lot of Glacier Park to be seen.

I've always wanted to go to Montana, now "we" for sure will want to "return" there. Thanks again. Sincerest regards,
Loreto (LARRY) & Catalina (CATHY) from Yonkers, NY
