Located in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada,
the Prince of Wales Hotel is one of the most photographed
hotels in North America. A dramatic curtain of the Canadian
Rockies surrounds this stately hotel set high on a bluff
overlooking Waterton Lake and the town of Waterton. As part
of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park, this
idyllic location just north of the Canadian border gives the
hotel an international flavor. This hotel, named after
Prince Edward, offers a traditional British atmosphere
complete with afternoon tea. Its romantic appeal has made it
a favorite for honeymooners for more the half a century. |

The Royal
Stewart Dining Room offers fine English and Continental
Canadian dining at the lobby level of this picturesque hotel.
Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., lunch is served
from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner is served from 5 p.m. to
9:30 p.m.
Enjoy a frosty pint of
Canadian micro-brew beer or glass of wine during lunch and
dinner. The Restaurant seats on a first come first served basis
and does not accept reservations. Casual attire is required so
come and enjoy our English/Canadian cuisine. Children’s menus
and box lunches available. |

Valerie’s Tea Room
offers
traditional afternoon tea with scones, and is served in addition
to fresh pastries and alcoholic beverages. Teatime is from 2
p.m. to 4 p.m., daily in the picturesque lobby. Advanced
reservations recommended.

The Windsor Lounge
features spectacular views, traditional English fare and a full
bar, making this a relaxing place to review the day. It is open
from 11:30 a.m. to midnight offering lunch and dinner menu
items. Television is available. |

Located in the
majestic Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton, Alberta, this gift
shop features an array of varied and unique Canadian gifts. Here
you will find Royal Doulton china, fine Ammolite (Canada’s
gemstone) jewelry, Anne of Green Gables merchandise and
Saskatoon berry gourmet treats. Many of the
souvenir lines highlight either the Canadian maple leaf design
or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) uniform. Princess
Gifts also sells its very own tea blend made especially for the
Prince of Wales Hotel. It is also featured daily at the
afternoon tea in the lobby.

rooms with king bed, shared balcony, full bath, sitting room and wet
bar. Suites are located on the 3rd floor.
Lakeside and Standard rooms
are located on floors 2 through 4 and are accessible by elevator and
stairs. Evening turndown service is available upon request. |
